Every year the sleepy town of Ottery St. Mary, East Devon, wakes to take part in a fiery night-long ritual dating back hundreds of years. Thousands descend on Ottery to witness a select few men, woman and children throw caution to the wind and transform the streets into a roaring furnace. This short film by South West creatives Tommy Gillard (director/producer) and Boris Hallvig (photographer/editor) documents the blistering spectacle of this unique tradition.
